Overview

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bettendorf, IA. As a key member of our MEP team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from start to finish, and make a significant impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selection, specification, and coordination.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Review and process shop drawings and submittals.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Manage projects, including serving as a client liaison and mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in mechanical and/or plumbing design, preferably as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor.
  • Wisconsin Professional Engineer license and/or DES required.
  • Experience working on architectural projects, such as schools, municipal buildings, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience coordinating projects from start to finish.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior engineers.
