Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for the precision manual machining of low-volume parts that CNC machines cannot handle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and work from complex blueprints, shop travelers, and sketches to fabricate tooling for an expansive machine shop.
  • Inspect parts to exact specifications and document your findings to ensure high-quality products.
  • Build and install fixtures to support manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production.
  • Report any issues with machinery, tooling, or quality to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Operate multiple machines as needed to meet production demands.
  • Take on additional tasks as required to support the team's goals.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for export authorization as per regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience in toolmaking or machining, with proficiency in holding tolerances within 5 thousandths or less.
  • Ability to read complex drawings, including GD&T, and conduct accurate manual inspections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit or stand as needed, with frequent walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve pulling, pushing, and grasping.
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and proper footwear in the manufacturing area.
