Job Summary:

At Stroudwater Lodge, we are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

About the Role:
  • Daily Activities Assistance: Help residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Meal Service: Serve meals and ensure residents receive the right nutrition, adhering to dietary guidelines and preferences.
  • Laundry Management: Efficiently manage laundry to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Responsive Care: Address residents' needs promptly and with empathy, demonstrating attentive care.
  • Care Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other care professionals to maintain a cohesive care team.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record observations and updates on residents' conditions to maintain accurate records.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety rules and infection control measures to protect residents' health.
  • Ongoing Education: Participate in training and education to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
  • Certification: Successful completion of state competency exam for CNA certification or PSS certification.
  • Mobility and Assistance: Ability to move and assist residents.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Genuine care and empathy for residents' well-being.
  • Accuracy and Confidentiality: Accurate recording of resident information and vital signs, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Teamwork and Ethics: Effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to ethical standards.
