About Our Organization:
Senior Care Therapy is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time clinicians to advance our mission of delivering in-person psychotherapy services to the elderly population across various care settings. If you are passionate about forming meaningful connections with residents and providing quality, patient-centered care to assist them in navigating the complexities of aging, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
As a clinician-owned and operated behavioral health organization, we handle all administrative responsibilities such as billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional treatment. Our treatment approach includes initial assessments, follow-up sessions, and efficient electronic documentation. We prioritize daytime hours for our sessions, as this population can be more challenging to serve during later hours. We believe in promoting work-life balance and offer flexibility in this role. Our organization provides various levels of support to ensure your success and effectiveness.
Compensation Structure: Full-Time positions are salaried, while Part-Time roles are compensated on a fee-for-service basis.
Work Schedule: Daytime Hours, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the treatment and interdisciplinary teams as necessary.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Support patients in addressing their concerns and achieving their goals.
- Conduct initial assessments and follow-up sessions during standard care hours.
- Complete documentation in accordance with established guidelines using our electronic medical records system.
- Engage in professional development and fulfill licensure requirements through relevant workshops and seminars.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the elderly population is advantageous.
- Background in treating Anxiety, Depression, and Adjustment Disorders.
- Prior clinical experience in Skilled Nursing, Hospital, Hospice, or Home Care settings is a plus.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
Job Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 45 minutes.
- Full vaccination and booster status may be required in certain facilities.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
