Job Title: Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at DeKalb County Regional Office of Education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders. This includes conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and implement treatment plans
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the treatment planning process
Requirements:
  • Valid Professional Educator License with endorsement in Speech Language Pathology
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
