Job Title: Dishwasher

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Village Tavern. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate an industrial dishwasher and wash dishes and glassware by hand when necessary.
  • Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places.
  • Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, and cleaning any spills and broken glass immediately.
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  • Arrive on time and in clean, uniform with a positive attitude ready to work.
  • Assist cooks and servers as needed, especially during peak hours.
  • Other duties as requested.
  • Answer, report and follow Manager's instructions.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a great attitude and willingness to work hard.
