Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a RN, you will provide planned and highly skilled nursing care for patients, working closely with physicians and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, including assessing and documenting patient status, administering medication, and positioning and transporting patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote better patient experience and high-quality care.
- Participate in regular in-service training and quality assurance activities to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and best practices.
- Administer medication, IV therapy, and drips as ordered, and discharge patients to home or other appropriate places accordingly.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and valid Illinois nursing license.
- Current CPR/AED card (or willing to obtain upon hire).
- ER and/or ICU experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts, 6pm to 6:30 am.
- Competitive hourly wage of $35.
- Shift differential of $3 for nights and $4 for weekends.
- Low nurse-to-patient ratios, leading to better patient outcomes.
- Excellent benefits package, including 401(k) plan with employer match and on-site childcare.
