Academic Facilitator

At Bardwell Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Academic Facilitator to join our team. As an Academic Facilitator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that align with the Academy's academic goals and curriculum. You will also provide learning activities that promote critical thinking and interactive discussion techniques. Additionally, you will employ effective communication skills with students, parents, and the Academy administration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and adhere to yearly, unit, and daily lesson plans in relation to the Academy's academic goals and curriculum.
  • Develop and provide learning activities that utilize critical thought process and interactive discussion techniques.
  • Employ effective communication skills with students, parents, and the Academy administration.
  • Recommend students for specialized services such as Title I programming, accelerated learning, and special education assessment.
  • Participate as a team player in decision-making processes at the Academy.
  • Treat each student and parent with dignity and respect while helping students become aware of their roles as an integral member of the group.
  • Provide intellectual stimulation and emotional support to students and maintain an environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in staff training programs as recommended and/or required by the Academy Director, the Academy Board of Directors, and other agencies.
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Academy Director.
