About the Role

We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at RightWorks Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety compliance programs at assigned facilities, including lockout/tag out, respiratory protection, and fall protection programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed, including job hazard analysis.
  • Maintain and manage the arsenic program.
  • Maintain and manage the emergency response team.
  • Assist in internal EHS auditing.
  • Maintain the appropriate training and skills to conduct the tasks noted above.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or safety science, engineering, or other physical science, or commensurate experience in site-level EHS compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience working with regulators during routine inspections, permit applications, and modifications.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations associated with a manufacturing facility.
  • An understanding of and practical experience in safety regulations, including OSHA regulations and standards 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926.
  • A working understanding and experience with conducting accident/injury investigations, including root cause analyses.
