We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse II to provide exceptional nursing care in an inpatient hospital environment. This role involves the application of the nursing process to ensure quality patient outcomes through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and modify patient care plans based on comprehensive data collection and individual patient needs.
- Utilize Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to enhance patient care delivery.
- Delegate nursing tasks in accordance with established scope of practice.
- Collaborate with interprofessional colleagues to verify and refine care plans.
- Educate patients and families based on identified learning needs.
- Facilitate effective communication among healthcare team members and patients.
- Advocate for policies that promote safe and effective patient care.
- Leverage appropriate resources to deliver care, particularly in sensitive situations.
- Engage in community health initiatives and promote healthy practice environments.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Licensure:
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate state board.
- Certification in Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
This position may require the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving patients, as well as working in environments with potential exposure to biohazards and infectious diseases.
