Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a NICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life
  • Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary
  • Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings
  • Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
  • Provide arterial and intravenous therapy
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators
Requirements:
  • BLS, NRP, 3 Years
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Please note that this is a travel nurse position, and you will be required to work in a variety of settings and with different equipment. You should be prepared to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to easily lift 10-20 pounds of equipment at times. NICU Travel Nurses may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
