About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment.
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner to ensure accurate records.
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature from Case Manager.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
