Surgical Technologist Position

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join its team in Falls Church, Virginia.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure execution and patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) certification.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
