Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our G6 Procedure Room team. As a RN HOPS, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in various healthcare settings.
- Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
- Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
- Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
- Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
- Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
- Educate patients and families.
- Cover other nursing roles in the department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of recent experience as an RN.
- Preferred qualifications: Two years of recent experience as an RN, one year of critical care experience.
This role requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. The ability to stand and walk for extensive periods is also required. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range are necessary. Some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids may be present.
