Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a Registered Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services
  • Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings in patient records
  • Perform telephone triage and call rotations
  • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
  • Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Coordinate ongoing care and facilitate discharge planning
  • Evaluate and maintain standards of care
  • Educate patients and families

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • One year of recent experience as an RN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of recent experience as an RN

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
  • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range
  • Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids
