Job Summary:

Cyber Defense Technologies (CDT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Architect to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will work with internal team members to ensure the systems are functional, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed security architecture that includes layered defenses and multiple levels of security controls.
  • Ensure these architectures are adaptable and flexible to accommodate future business and technology changes.
  • Responsible for cyber threat identification, evaluation, prioritization, controls implementation and remediation activities.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
  • Conduct periodic security audits and reviews.
  • Continuously review and propose changes to systems, networks, and software designs.
  • Analyzing logging and alerting data, identifying, and escalating potential security events.
  • Partner with business user to support the intergradation of cybersecurity protection into business operations.
  • Act as the key member of the incident response team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • Experience with data security administration principles, methods and techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE, MCTS, MCSA, CISM

Salary Range:

$130,000 - $160,000
