Role Responsibilities:
As a Management Trainee, you will engage in a hands-on program designed to enhance your supervisory skills, business knowledge, and overall capability to independently manage a restaurant. Throughout your journey, you will be expected to learn and excel in various leadership and operational competencies, including but not limited to: Prioritizing Customer Needs, Adapting to Change, Encouraging Teamwork, Achieving Goals, and Personal Development.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the Management Team and Team Members to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Deliver unforgettable guest interactions and mentor other Managers on collaborating with the General Manager regarding recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance assessments of Team Members and Supervisors.
  • Ensure that team members and Management team receive proper training utilizing CAVA resources.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and recognition to Team Members.
  • Assist the General Manager in executing administrative responsibilities, including P&L management, budgeting, and controlling costs related to food, beverages, and labor.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Be prepared to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Support with any additional assigned responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend and reach overhead frequently.
  • Dexterity to handle kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work near open flames.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces.
  • Maintain consistent communication with multiple individuals.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision are necessary.
  • Ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
  • Occasional outdoor work may be required.
