As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in our mission by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations using your expertise and independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities- Examination Preparation: Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and gain consent for contrast material administration.
- Procedure Execution: Perform CT procedures following established imaging protocols, ensuring accurate technical factors and patient safety.
- Image Review and Documentation: Compile and review images, provide comparison studies, and prepare documentation for interpretation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on equipment, as well as stock and replenish supplies as required.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in departmental and hospital information technologies, including RIS, PACS, and Soarian.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program resulting in a two-year certificate and/or associate degree
