Position Summary:

  • Provide essential financial and administrative support to the finance department.
  • Assist the finance team in generating new sales invoices, making updates, reinstating accounts, managing recurring billing, and processing customer payments.

  • Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices.
  • Conduct weekly audits of client payments and pricing adjustments.
  • Record returned checks in the system and update customer accounts accordingly.
  • Perform daily data processing tasks using MS Excel.
  • Manage reconciliations of merchant accounts.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliation reports.
  • Generate aging and cancellation reports.
  • Conduct data scrubbing to ensure accuracy for commission and payroll reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with management regarding the status of account collections.
  • Support team members through cross-training initiatives to foster a well-rounded team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in accounting, particularly in Accounts Receivable, is preferred.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
  • A collaborative team player who works well with others.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and accounting software.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reporting.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field, or
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting,
  • 1+ year of experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred.
