Role of Occupational Therapists
Occupational Therapists play a crucial role in aiding individuals with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions. They collaborate with patients to enhance or restore their functional abilities through the application of daily activities.

Areas of Expertise
These professionals address a variety of conditions—mental, physical, developmental, or emotional—supporting patients in acquiring and sustaining essential life and work skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for this position, candidates must fulfill specific criteria related to their background, health, and other standards established by the Air Force and federal regulations.

Educational Background
Completion of an accredited occupational therapy program is required. The minimum educational qualification is an entry-level master's degree, with a doctorate being preferred.

Experience Requirements
Applicants should have at least six months of experience in occupational therapy roles, which includes planning, managing, and executing therapy treatments and activities.

Licensing and Training
Possession of a state license and registration to practice occupational therapy is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must have completed a minimum of 24 months of supervised clinical experience in an occupational therapy setting and successfully finished the Officer Training School course.

Age Criteria
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 42.
