Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at PLANIT Group. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for setting up test apparatus and conducting tests of electronic assemblies and units following established methods, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate test equipment to conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units
  • Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
  • Adjust and calibrate systems as required
  • Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed
  • Determine types of tests to be performed and analyze test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment
  • Assist engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
  • Troubleshoot to the component level and utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry
Requirements
  • 1 year of direct experience in electronics testing and maintenance
  • Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits
  • Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions
  • Flying probe/high power test experience
  • Extensive RF testing experience
  • Familiarity with Radar Systems
