Position Overview:

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

The RN Unit Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily clinical operations of healthcare staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring a safe environment for residents.
  • Interpreting patient data and making critical clinical decisions.
  • Administering medications, wound care, and other individualized treatments.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
  • Preferred experience in a long-term care setting.
  • No history of resident abuse, mistreatment, or property misappropriation.
  • Able to interpret patient information and make informed decisions.
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to collaborate respectfully with healthcare personnel, residents, and their families.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to respecting residents' privacy and rights, demonstrating genuine concern and empathy.
  • Physical capability to perform frequent activities, including lifting at least 20 pounds.
