About the Job

American Traveler is seeking a medical imaging specialist for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

As a medical imaging specialist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring the accuracy and quality of these procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
  • Current professional license as required by the state
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions

Pay Package

The estimated salary for this position is $145,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and 12-hour shifts. This figure includes a tax-free stipend and does not include additional benefits such as health insurance and retirement plan contributions.
