About This Opportunity

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Group Manager to join our team in Wall Township, New Jersey. As a key member of our electrical department, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development, and delivery of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Proposal and Management: Participate in the project proposal effort by defining the project scope of work and budget.
  • Electrical Department Standards: Review and update the electrical department standards, details, and specification development and updates.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Quality control through project review at various stages throughout project design.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor, and coach the electrical group members and assist in the performance management process by providing feedback to the technical leader for performance evaluations.
  • Staffing and Resource Allocation: Works with the Project Manager to determine the staffing needs for each project.
  • Financial and Technical Project Success: Assures financial and technical project success and maintains a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provides subject matter expertise to company clients on technical issues.
  • Representation: Represents firm at technical conferences and client meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college/university.
  • Experience: 10+ years applicable design experience in consulting engineering and/or construction projects.
  • Professional License: Professional License, NJ & NY.
