Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the mission and values of the organization while demonstrating ethical behavior.
- Ensure all residents receive fair treatment, kindness, dignity, and respect, safeguarding their rights at all times.
- Respect and maintain the personal and property rights of residents during all duties, including proper etiquette when entering rooms.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of residents' rooms, communal areas, recreational spaces, floors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures.
- Perform sanitation tasks in bathrooms, including cleaning and disinfecting.
- Assist in waste management by removing trash and replacing liners in receptacles.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping & Laundry.
- Follow all infection control and sanitation protocols diligently.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
