Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses and studies to provide expert advice to our DoD clients regarding the future of communications for Uncrewed Systems.
  • Offer technical and academic guidance to government product offices in designing effective communication solutions for field deployment, enhancing operational capabilities for the warfighter.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in communications or Electronic Warfare (EW) environments.
  • Proficient understanding of RF principles, including RF testing, RF propagation, RF schematics, and link budgets, particularly in relation to over-the-air signal detection.
  • Familiarity with communications waveform modulation theories such as PSK and QAM.
  • Knowledge of Forward Error Correction (FEC) techniques, including LDPC, turbo codes, and Reed-Solomon.
  • Hands-on experience with testing equipment, including spectrum/signal analyzers, signal/function generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience in radio testing, whether in laboratory or flight environments.
  • Proficient in data analysis using MATLAB.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and possess (or be able to obtain) a Final Secret Clearance, with eligibility for a Top-Secret Clearance.

Compensation:

The anticipated pay range for this position is between $81,000 and $146,875. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Factors influencing the final offer may include job responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
