About the Role

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Communications Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic support to the Patriot Ground Support Equipment (PGSE) product office within the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and perform systems engineering/analysis criteria and objectives for assigned programs.
  • Assist in the development and review of system requirements and test objectives.
  • Evaluate potential hardware solutions for meeting system requirements and evaluate test results for objective accomplishment.
  • Provide tactical communications systems and tactical data link engineering support for all relative communication systems.
  • Conduct independent technical analysis, evaluation, and assessment of communications networks/hardware/systems for requirement compliance, interoperability, obsolescence mitigation, and Defense planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizen with active Secret security clearance or with the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Systems Engineering for Communication systems.
  • Experience supporting Army Air Defense systems.
  • Familiarity with Military Standards for Tactical Data Links including MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, etc.
