Medical Assistant Job Description

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Lone Tree Pediatrics. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients
  • Complete intake and prepare patients for healthcare visits
  • Document patient information and vital signs accurately and timely
  • Perform point-of-care tests and maintain medical records
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g. Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT)
  • Nationally recognized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems
  • 1-3 years of experience in Family or Pediatrics
