Lunar Fluids Engineer

About the JobIn this role, you'll conduct 1D-3D thermal and fluids analysis, define hardware requirements, and resolve technical challenges. You'll work closely with other cross-functional teams to develop and verify requirements, design, and procurement. A successful candidate should have a strong understanding of thermal and fluid mechanics of Cryogenics, experience with Thermal Desktop/SINDA/FLUINT, and ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range: $111,690 - $156,366 (CA), $102,382.50 - $143,335.50 (CO), and $111,690 - $156,366 (WA). Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match, and an Education Support Program. Paid Time Off: up to four weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays. Discretionary bonus: bonuses designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Requirements- Minimum of BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Direct experience in Space applications Fluids & Propulsion analysis (minimum 5 years)
- Strong understanding of thermal and fluid mechanics of Cryogenics
- Experience with Thermal Desktop/SINDA/FLUINT
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships
