As a Clinical Nurse Leader in our Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare. With over 100 clinical locations across Central Texas and four teaching hospitals, Ascension Seton offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for quality patient care and leadership. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will drive nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to enhance quality and safety outcomes, and supporting clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data.

You will also guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level. Additionally, you will aid in the analysis of research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
  • Drive nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
  • Aid in identifying opportunities to enhance quality and safety outcomes.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data.
  • Guide the implementation of EBP projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Prior Emergency Department and Behavioral Health Experience Preferred.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
