Strategic Data Systems is seeking a Management Analyst with experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) or Navy sectors to contribute to our team.

Role Overview:
This role involves assisting the Navy with financial oversight, resource management, project-based financial inquiries, financial assessments, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather, evaluate, and interpret data to provide informed recommendations to the Government.
2. Identify and analyze issues, utilizing relevant data such as annual revenues, employment statistics, cost performance, schedules, or expenditures.
3. Offer support in the enhancement and optimization of departmental business processes, particularly in financial practices across various projects.
4. Engage in and contribute to LEAN initiatives and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) activities related to business process improvements.
5. Develop solutions to address client challenges.
6. Understand the organization’s structure and its interrelations with other governmental entities, as well as its internal culture.
7. Prepare and analyze mathematical models, presenting findings and recommendations to the Government through written reports and oral presentations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in budgeting, accounting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
