Lead Video Production Expert

Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a Lead Video Production Expert to enhance our Video Production Team.
This role involves collaboration with our talented producers, designers, videographers/editors, 3-D animators, and copywriters. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in video production, including camera setup, lighting techniques for various environments, and audio capture. Proficiency in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and organizing equipment for on-location shoots
- Setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video projects
- Managing and expanding our video asset library
- Enhancing your skills as a videographer and photographer
- Developing into a proficient editor and motion graphics creator
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required
- A portfolio showcasing editing samples of on-camera interviews and b-roll footage that reflects a strong understanding of video production and post-production practices
- A genuine passion for all facets of video production and post-production
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Expertise in videography, particularly with DSLR and mirrorless cameras
- Proficient in field lighting and audio recording using wireless lavalier and shotgun microphones
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Possession of a Commercial UAS license (14 CFR part 107)
- Bachelor's degree in video production, communications, or a related field
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating within a team environment
- Able to direct and work with novice talent in a professional and respectful manner
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Willingness to travel frequently for extended periods
- Must be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Canon and Sony mirrorless cameras
- Familiarity with Davinci Resolve
- Experience in podcasting or video web series production
- Skills in location scouting, scriptwriting, and interview transcription
