Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our educational team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Speech and Language Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist with Therapy Sessions: Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
  • Monitor Student Progress: Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies.
  • Communicate with Parents and Staff: Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas SLPA license.
  • Experience: Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to Work under Supervision: Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP.
