Job Summary

Molecular Matrix Inc is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the development of tissue engineering medical devices. The successful candidate will utilize cell culture and molecular biology techniques to drive advancements in bioprocessing, scaffolding, and large-scale tissue formation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform molecular cloning using PCR, restriction digest, and DNA assembly techniques.
  • Develop and execute gene expression assays using RT-PCR.
  • Collaborate with the preclinical team to support preclinical trials of novel technologies.
  • Contribute to group efforts in research and development, identifying and suggesting supplies and equipment to support this role.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in adherent mammalian cell culture.
  • Knowledge of molecular cloning and transfection, including designing DNA constructs, producing plasmids, and delivering to cells using transfection or electroporation.
  • Cell line development skills, including screening, isolating, and validating targeted cell populations.
