Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CT Technologist Trainee to join our team at Midstate Radiology Associates. As a CT Technologist Trainee, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients under the supervision of a licensed CT Technologist.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients, including administering contrast media and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  3. Assist radiologists in performing complex invasive CT exams, including procedures such as biopsies and tumor treatments.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  6. Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred.
  • Current CT radiographer license required; certification in CPR and other relevant areas may be required.
  • At least one year of experience as a radiological technologist or CT technologist preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time.
