Job Summary

About the Role

Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Cushing, OK. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment, transporting patients, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray rooms, portables, and CT scanners in a safe and proficient manner.
  • Transport patients and handle telephone calls for scheduling and answering questions related to exam reports.
  • Utilize knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy, and positioning to ensure high-quality exams.
  • Manage multiple demands simultaneously and maintain a helpful attitude towards patients, families, office personnel, physicians, and associates.
  • Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to optimize smooth patient flow.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible.
  • BLS certification required.
