Job Title: Instrument Technician

At Community Health Network, we are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by providing technical support for the selection, assembly, and processing of instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for the selection, assembly, and processing of instruments and equipment.
  • Clean, decontaminate, maintain, and preserve instruments, equipment, and non-sterile supplies.
  • Care for and preserve all instrumentation.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience in a similar sterile processing position in an operating room setting.
  • Knowledge of surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, equipment, and decontamination/sterilization.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (C.R.C.S.T.) preferred upon hire, if hired without certification must be obtained within one year of hire date.
  • Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task.
  • Self-directed and motivated with a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
