Job Opportunity at Bonneville Seattle

We are seeking a skilled Producer to join our team at KIRO Radio in Seattle. As a key member of our daily news talk shows, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality content, researching news stories, and developing unique angles to engage our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and engaging news content
  • Research and develop news stories daily
  • Conceptualize and develop unique angles within news stories
  • Collaborate with hosts to frame and develop their ideas and opinions
  • Record, edit, and mix audio on deadline
  • Book guests daily and cultivate news resources and contacts
  • Engage with our audience on social media platforms

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to handle stress and multitask
  • Expert use of social media tools and familiarity with FCC regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and project a professional appearance
  • Prior experience in media and digital video production skills are preferred
