We are seeking a skilled Flexible Packaging Operator to join our team at Taylor Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating printing press equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient production processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate printing press equipment to produce high-quality packaging materials.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
  • Inspect paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
  • Check plates for correct format.
  • Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
  • Coordinate with the production team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements and equipment operation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
  • High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • High degree of mechanical ability.
  • Good reading ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with close tolerances.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • High degree of analytical skills.
  • Good color discernment.
