Dishwasher Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Full House Resorts. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the dishwashing machine is set up and broken down properly, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to prevent defects.
  • Dishwashing and Storage: Wash and store all dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated areas, and check water temperature to ensure proper sanitation.
  • Trash Removal and Cleaning: Remove trash from the dishroom and kitchen areas, and clean and sanitize garbage cans and surrounding areas.
  • General Cleaning: Sweep and mop all floors, pull and wash floor mats, and keep the dishroom and kitchen areas clean and organized.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Exercise initiative in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assist with bussing tables and bringing dirty dishes back to the dishroom as needed.

Requirements:

  • Uniform and Personal Grooming: Wear a proper uniform and name tag, and maintain a clean and neat appearance, including wearing a hat or hairnet at all times.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, and demonstrate a willingness to help with tasks outside of your primary responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: The Dishwasher role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: The Dishwasher will work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
