Audit Clerk

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Stockman's Casino's accounting data by performing daily audits of revenue departments. The successful candidate will verify balances, investigate variances, and document adjustments while complying with all rules and regulations.

• Perform daily audits of revenue departments, including Cage, Vault, Pit, Keno, Coffee Shop, Steakhouse, and Bar.
• Verify balances and write exceptions as needed, investigating variances and documenting adjustments.
• Input daily revenue into Excel spreadsheets, verify balances, and input information into a journal entry for posting.
• Process returned checks, including certified mail and official police documents.
• Perform Accounts Payable and payroll functions as directed by the Accounting Manager.
• Conduct Table Game Soft Count when needed.
• Work with the Oasis System and Aristocrat Support team.
• Accurately record W-2s collected from the Cage/Vault in an Excel spreadsheet and send the final report to the IRS at the end of the year.
• Cross-train in all related fields within the Accounting Office to ensure all duties can be completed during team members' days off or vacation.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures is essential, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
