Job Title: Quality Technician

At Apolis, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. This is a part-time contract position working 24 hours a week, onsite at our Solon, OH office.

Job Summary:

The Quality Technician will be responsible for designing and executing shelf life studies, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing inventory of shelf life products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics and data analysis, as well as experience working in food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute shelf life studies, including preparation, moderating, and reporting of shelf-life panels.
  • Maintain accurate and timely panel documentation and study reports.
  • Manage inventory of shelf life products and communicate availability of shelf life freezer storage space.
  • Record all applicable data from shelf-life panels.
  • Perform data analysis using basic analytical instruments and Nestle systems such as GLOBE, NesTMS, and NesRequest.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary information and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A.S. or B.S. degree in science, culinary, baking, or related area, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and data analysis.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
