About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Field Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the field commissioning of building automation systems, working closely with customers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
  • Offer effective solutions for system issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide turnkey project delivery on small to mid-level projects, ensuring systems operate properly.
  • Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports, and implement time management strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Communicate and document project status and details to customers, providing site-specific training on the complete system.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid and current Driver's License, capable of climbing ladders or using lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
  • Experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or related field, with knowledge of building automation software and installing building automation controls.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology, and ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
