Job Summary

The Production Supervisor 2nd Shift will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient production of company products. This individual will ensure that all quality and productivity requirements are met while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise multiple functions and shifts of the production team to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production metrics and quality control data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and personnel issues.
  • Provide coaching and training to production employees to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of improving productivity and reducing costs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or MBA degree.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with 6S implementation and management.
Work Environment

The Production Supervisor 2nd Shift will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous materials. The individual must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
