Ceramic Removal Specialist

Job Summary:

Vector Technical Inc is seeking a skilled Ceramic Removal Specialist to join their team in Wickliffe, OH. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for removing ceramic from foundry molds using a hammer. This is a critical step in the production process, and attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Remove ceramic from foundry molds using a hammer
• Verify parts against paperwork
• Conduct alloy type tests using an X-ray spectrometer
• Perform rough and precision cuts of castings using an abrasive cut-off saw
• Trim parts using an abrasive cut-off saw
• Ensure proper placement of alloy for revert
• Ensure proper paperwork is with foundry cast molds prior to Knock-Out
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Record all work performed in Lot Control
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
• Follow all safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures

• Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity and color perception standards
• Complete additional training as required

Work Schedule:

The available shifts are 1st Shift OWW (7a-7p) at $18/hour. The schedule breakdown is as follows:

• Week 1: Work M/T, Off W/Th/F, Work Sat/Sun
• Week 2: Off M/T, Work W/Th/F, Off Sat/Sun

Certification of Cut-Off:

90 days of continuous training are required. You must know all procedures and complete all training documents before receiving a wage increase.
