Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns, demonstrating a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
