The Role
We are in search of a driven and results-focused professional to join our expanding FP&A team. The ideal candidate will combine robust analytical capabilities with a comprehensive understanding of business performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making.
This position will closely collaborate with our exceptional Marketing division, employing advanced strategic modeling and performance analysis to derive significant insights related to expense planning, marketing investment ROI, pipeline generation, and more.
This dynamic role reports to the Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, and will frequently engage with Senior Management, responding swiftly to business needs and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong business partner relationships within Marketing and across the organization, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Analytics teams to establish and implement marketing KPIs that evaluate the ROI of various campaigns and drive discussions on pipeline creation.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Marketing team to stay aligned with current company strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to oversee headcount, marketing initiatives, and discretionary expenditures.
- Analyze operational and financial outcomes, including monthly trends and drivers, using insights to update forecasts and identify areas of concern with actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Marketing HR business partners and recruiters for headcount planning, aligning with business needs and hiring timelines.
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity and manage interdependencies with other company processes to propose scalable long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with Marketing to prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, including executive presentations and investor reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance/FP&A, preferably supporting GTM teams such as Marketing and Sales.
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Detail-oriented analytical thinker with a strong inquisitive nature.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in a high-growth tech environment (SaaS preferred).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to create efficient operational processes.
- History of managing multiple projects from various stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles (including accruals and account reconciliations).
- Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and capable of analyzing large datasets.
- Experience with Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, and Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
