Team Overview
The Ads Targeting team is focused on enhancing advertisement placements and empowering advertisers to optimize their campaigns effectively. As a Software Engineer within this team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing robust data processing systems and serving infrastructures for next-generation advertising targeting products, leveraging applied machine learning models to optimize budgets by comprehending user interests and intentions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to establish the strategic direction and features of ads targeting products, utilizing data-driven insights and industry trends.
- Design, refine, and implement ads targeting methodologies; enhance infrastructure and machine-learning techniques; maintain and resolve issues related to both offline and online ad targeting products.
- Extract, consolidate, and synchronize relevant data to generate audience insights, assisting advertisers in identifying demographics, locations, devices, and interests that constitute their remarketing lists.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, accompanied by software development experience.
- Proficient coding abilities, particularly in Python, C++, Go, or SQL, with a solid grounding in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with big data processing and parallel computing frameworks, such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Strong business acumen coupled with excellent problem-solving, project management, and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in constructing high-load distributed systems or data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with developing and troubleshooting machine learning workloads on distributed systems is advantageous.
- Experience in creating modern ad ranking, retrieval, targeting systems, and recommender systems.
