Job OverviewAmpersand Inc. is a financial technology company that serves the needs of treasury/cash management clients and financial institutions across America.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Controller in our financial department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the financial department, ensuring accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of operational accounts in the ledger system. You will also implement and manage efficient processes for tracking and managing incoming and outgoing deposits, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the financial department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of postings and reconciliations.
  • Implement and manage efficient processes for tracking and managing incoming and outgoing deposits.
  • Conduct comprehensive profitability analyses to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
  • Ensure protection of client deposits by managing investments in accordance with banking regulations or other ancillary products.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; master's degree or professional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management/accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, banking regulations (including FDIC insurance), and deposit management practices.
