Key Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:
- Efficiently operate dishwashing equipment and maintain excellent service standards for residents.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of designated equipment and areas as instructed by management.
- Maintain an adequate supply of dining essentials such as china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service times.
- Serve meals to residents in dining areas, adhering to established portion control guidelines while ensuring an appealing presentation.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including managing spills, unloading dishwashers, and disposing of waste in compliance with facility and state regulations.
- Engage in departmental cleaning and recycling initiatives.
- Dispose of food and waste responsibly, following all relevant guidelines.
Qualifications for the Dietary Aide:
- Experience in delivering quality resident services, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize responsibilities, and address emergencies as they arise.
- Familiarity with sanitary practices related to food handling.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents and their families.
- Capability to identify and report issues within the daily work routine, offering constructive suggestions for improvement.
- Willingness to perform dishwashing duties as required.
- Openings available for both part-time and full-time positions across all shifts.
